This map is amazing. If you're a map (or even a "data visualization") guy/gal, just take my word and look at it. My words won't do it justice, I assure you.
A strange polar-aspect comparison map of river lengths, produced by Chapman and Hall for what might be the best title for any organization I have ever heard of: "The Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge".
(Who could be against that?)
