A birdseye map of Savannah [gmap], Georgia, as it appeared in 1734.

There may be additional significance to the date chosen, but it comes one year after General James Oglethorpe founded the city of Savannah at the site of Yamacraw Bluff [gmap].

The print itself? Well, it's rather unlovely. The composition is pretty mediocre and the only interesting things to look at are on the bottom margin. Sorry, Mr. Gordon.
