This map isn't part of any series, but we have other maps of Central America that you might want to check out.
The United Fruit Company commissioned this map; perhaps anticipating a U.S. public genuinely curious about where it is their bananas were coming from.
Now, I'm no expert, but come to find out that they were kind of a bunch of murderous greedy pricks who roped the U.S. armed forces into protecting their interests by just indiscriminantly stomping on any swinging dick that wanted a fair wage for his labor or an equitable say in the use of his country's resources.
In 1984 the United Fruit Company was merged into Chiquita Banana.
