In honor of the 149th anniversary of the battle...
(well, things got out of whack a bit in the queue... this was supposed to go out on the anniv of the battle -- September 17th -- but got bounced around for some reason. Today is Memorial Day however; sometimes the queue works in mysterious ways. Went out to Jefferson Barracks cemetery last Memorial Day; it was quite moving. Hope your barbecue is a great one, and I hope that you take at least a moment to reflect on the holiday.)
