This map isn't part of any series, but we have other maps of Africa that you might want to check out.
Small-scale map of much of Central Africa that appears to use colored lines to illustrate the paths taken by various 19th century European explorers -- I'm far from an expert, but I recognized a few: Henry Morton Stanley ("Dr. Livingstone, I presume?), and of course Dr. Livingstone himself, Wilhelm Junker, Georg Schweinfurth, Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza, Eduard Robert Flegel, Hermenegildo Capelo, Joseph Thomson, and James Frederic Elton. Several on there that I couldn't recognize, as well.
Any native German speakers wanna search through this for notable... things?

notable things? Well, not that much at a first glance.
- At approx 3’20”S / 17 E ist says “Piraten Df.” – Pirate#s village.
- At 5′N, 15′ – 19′ E it says: “Angeblich Seengebiet” – supposedly lakes.
Quite a lot “Unerforscht” spreading ove the map: terra incognita.
- At 3-9′ S, 39E, distinction is made between “Wildniss[sic!] (wilderness) and “unbewohnte Wildniss[sic!] (uninhabited wilderness).
Very cool of you to share, yen. Thanks for pointing these things out.
Kind regards,
