I'm really not qualified to tell you if these diagonal-stripe cross sections appended to this geologic map of Tennessee and North Carolina are "innovative", "distracting", or just "jacked-up".
What say you, geologist?
I think it’s quite cool. I like the idea of having multiple cross sections line up on the map – you can definitely see the overall “guts” much better.
