Yellowstone National Park [gmap] and the Northern Pacific Railroad get equal billing on this beautiful map by Charles Fee.
The cynic in me leans towards thinking that this is a strong indicator of who bankrolled the creation of the map.

Excellent blog! I just wanted to mention that the Northern Pacific Railroad was a big reason for the early success of Yellowstone. The addition of a train station and rail service connecting the park to the rest of the United States and provided a bunch of positive exposure to both the railroad and Yellowstone.
