Camille Drie is a birdseye map illustrator whose work I'd like to see more of. His seminal ”Pictoral St Louis” is a master-work that is peerless within the idiom. Unfortunately, his other works are hard to come by.

One of the very few I've been able to locate is this map of Galveston, Texas [gmap], home of legendary heavyweight boxer Jack Johnson.
