An Albert Ruger birdseye map of Iowa City, Iowa [gmap].

One thing I noticed was the pedestrian street abutting the rail bridge [lower center], presumably to provide pedestrian access. Multi-use train/ped bridges have since fallen out of favor, which may or may not be correlative with our country turning into a bunch of wussies. You be the judge.
