This map isn't part of any series, but we have other Missouri maps that you might want to check out.
A handsome but otherwise unremarkable illustration of Jefferson City, Missouri [gmap], the Capital of the State of Missouri, by A. Ruger in 1869.
Ruger was really producing these maps at a tremendous clip at this time; and if we're being honest, many of them start to take on the same look. But I think it's a testament to his professionalism that he defaults to something like the map you see here: stately, handsome, serviceable. One way to knock this would be to say ”They all look the same”, but one possible rejoinder to this might be ”...but they all look great.”
