This map isn't part of any series, but we have other maps of Atlanta that you might want to check out.
Augustus Koch has only made around a dozen birdseye maps that I've been able to track down; but among that dozen are some of my very favorites.
This birdseye of Atlanta [gmap] doesn't crack my “favorites” list, but it's still well-done, and it's a good introduction to some of Koch's strengths. Strong, contrasting inking; with a penchant for breaking out of perspective to show detail... but only when it acts to the benefit of the composition, and always with thoughtfulness and deftness.
For more maps and images from this period in the region's history, visit the Georgia Historical Society.

Koch actually produced an enormous number of views – some 111 – and is perhaps the most widely traveled of all American bird’s-eye view makers with a corpus of work ranging from Seattle to Texas to Maine.
