One of Fowler's stronger pieces, but not his best. He's holding perspective in check, at least, in this birdseye of Windber, Pennsylvania [gmap].
I like the composition, and I like it handles the inset well. It's well-balanced and has a pleasing shape.
Windber is a coal town, and was most well-known for manufacturing fire brick. If that's not manly enough for you I'll add this: it's the hometown of Tarzan. I hear that if you shake a Windber man's hand, then your own hand just crumbles into dust.
