This map isn't part of any series, but we have other maps of Mississippi River that you might want to check out.
Time for another Multi-Map Monday.
Two birdseye maps of a place I've spent a long time thinking about, but know very little about: Cairo, Illinois [gmap].
It's fortunes and its fate were, perhaps, more closely tied to the river(s) than my own native St. Louis... it's decline even more severe. There are more similarities there that I might go into deeper at some point; but I'd like to go there and get a feel for the place, first.
Map is an alright one by a guy whose work I've never really developed an appreciation for: John Bachmann
